We have introduced Synergy Student Portal accounts for Years 7 to 10. These portal accounts allow pupils to easily track any homework that has been assigned via their individual timetables.
Synergy Student accounts utilise a single sign-on with Microsoft 365/ One Drive, meaning that pupils use the same email address and password for both systems.

Frequently Asked Questions/Troubleshooting
Synergy says that my account does not exist.
Pupils first need to log-in to Microsoft Office 365 via www.office.com using their full school email address and password. Once they have done this and are successful, they are to visit thedeanery.schoolsynergy.co.uk where they are to click on ‘Staff/Student SSO’ button and then type in the same full school email address and password that they have just used.
Microsoft Office 365 does not work.
Pupils must use their full school email address and password i.e. 21BloggsJo@Deanery.wigan.sch.uk If this does not work, double check that the email address is typed in correctly. If the error continues, contact your child’s head of year who will then liaise with our ICT department to reset the account password. Then please follow the guide above.
I can successfully log in to Microsoft Office 365, but Synergy does not work.
Pupils must click on the ‘Staff/Student SSO’ button when attempting to log in to Synergy. They then must type their full school email address and password which they use for accessing Microsoft Office 365. Check everything is typed in correctly. If this still does not work then contact Mr Grady email@example.com
