Key Stage 4
Subject: ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network) Personal Development Programme
Assessment Overview: 100% coursework
What will I learn?
The ASDAN Personal Development Programme consists of a bronze (6 points) , silver (12 points) or gold (18 points) award.
Similar to the Duke of Edinburgh award, these awards are achieved by completing a number of challenges from 12 different subject areas such as the environment, expressive arts or number handling, to name but a few. Pupils are encouraged to tailor the course to include their own strengths and interests as well as to learn new skills.Pupils produce a portfolio/folder of work and evidence to include photos, reviews and log books which document each challenge. These are externally moderated by ASDAN.
Below are the subject areas covered which would lead to a silver award.
