Deanery Sixth Form Results 2022

The Deanery Sixth Form are celebrating another exceptional set of results this year with a 99.5% pass rate and a huge 88% of grades being A*-C or equivalent.

The number of top A-level grades at The Deanery for examination years is at its highest ever, despite the impacts that the COVID pandemic has had on this cohort of students. We have surpassed previous year’s figures with 68.5% of students achieving A*-B or equivalent and 43% of students achieving A*-A or equivalent.

The vast majority of university applicants have received their first-choice place, and a number of students have secured degree level apprenticeships.

“Many congratulations to all the Deanery Sixth Form students on their achievements!”

Mr Martin Wood, Headteacher, said “This is an outstanding performance from our hardworking students, and we are immensely proud of them all. These excellent results and improvements in high grades have been achieved in the most challenging of circumstances. This is the first opportunity for this cohort to sit examinations, and they have flourished! The results reflect the hard work of the students and staff alike. We wish all of our students the very best for their future success beyond the Deanery Sixth Form’.
